Notes: The latest addition to the Calatrava collection, the new reference 5226 in white gold perfectly illustrates Patek Philippe’s quest for excellence in all areas of the watchmaking art. Based on the round and refined case shape that has made Calatrava models famous since 1932, Patek Philippe has reworked it by adorning its sides with a “Clous de Paris” guilloché decoration – an emblematic motif of the Manufacture. In order to allow this guilloché decoration to run around the entire circumference of the case, the designers have also imagined a particular construction of the case where the strap attachments are attached to the caseback.
This new model is powered by the self-winding caliber 26-330 S C with hours, minutes, central seconds, date aperture and “stop seconds”. This new reference is accompanied by two interchangeable straps, one in beige calfskin with a nubuck finish, the other in black calfskin with an embossed textile pattern and beige stitching.
